Friends of Leash Optional Parks (F.L.O.P.) is a group of citizens from the central Florida area who are interested in the development of Leash Optional Dog Parks for the community. These facilities have been available in other areas for over a decade and have proven to be both highly popular and beneficial to the public as a whole.

The key to their popularity is that they provide a safe environment for both the dog owner and non-dog owner alike.

When properly designed these facilities become a forum to educate and exercize man's best friend. Although public standards are still being developed at a national level, our years of research indicate that by following a few simple rules a highly successful Dog Park can be implemented with a minimal amount of effort and expense.
